Oil and Gold Leaf on Burlap

———

This painting is part of a series of repeating linear works whereby I look into ‘zip’ style motifs. They denote travel and I chose the word ‘Procession’ because I found the elements of order and movement suited the ethos behind the work. For me these works also have deeper connotations, they are quite imposing and the monotonous mechanical nature of the work could be seen as something fraught and regimented. A new order- possibly a mirror on the expectations of modern life.

The work is available and ready to hang. All delivery and servicing of the artwork will be dealt with by myself.
